Bulk SMS
Bulk SMS is the distribution of a single message to multiple mobile phone handsets simultaneously. It is a simple, robust, high returns and low-cost way to communicate with customers or staff. It allows alphanumeric Sender Ids or Branded messaging. We allow integrations with websites, Point of Sale systems, financial and accounting systems, ERP Softwares or other applications to avail message sending capabilities and customizations via an Application Programming Interface (API).

Short code service
Short codes are 4 or 5-digit numbers that facilitate an interactive relay of messages. Short codes are utilized to bring instant replies. They allow you to start your own messaging campaign by providing desired content to your clients. Crowd Communication can give you a shared or dedicated short code suitable for your organizations communication.
USSD Code (e.g. Safaricom’s *100#)
Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) is a protocol used by GSM cellular telephones to communicate with the service provider's computers. This is more like messaging short codes but with a session. It is faster to reply than the normal messaging short codes. Customers are able to receive desired information and / or content by dialing a simple 3-digit access number. USSD codes can be dedicated or shared depending on the investment of a client. USSD codes are commonly used for financial services such as mobile banking, credit services and data collection. An example of a popular USSD channel is Nairobi County Government’s *217# that provides Nairobi County services.

Mobile Money payments API integrations
Crowd Communication offers an instant payment notification product that helps customer receive a real-time confirmation SMS from the organization (with Sender ID Address) wherever someone pays via MPESA or USSD Code. This product is integrated with the organization financial database to post and confirm payments from Mpesa in real time and accurately. This system automates and manages pay bill collection accounts in real time.
Mobile App, GPS Geo-mapping and Visualization
A mobile app is a computer program designed to run on a mobile device such as a phone or tablet. Your organization Mobile App can be used to provide information on various services. The App can also be used to facilitate revenue collection such as parking fees, school fees, market stalls fees, check payment status of various services fees. Field enforcement staff can use the App to check compliance. A mobile app simply counterchecks information that is already stored in a computer database.
Geo mapping and Visualization is used to capture GPS coordinates of several locations then displaying the captured data in a spatial map. Important information can then be attached to the captured location. The information is then analyzed and presented on a centralize dashboard and used in managerial decision making.

Client based / API SMS Integration
This is a case where the messaging systems are installed in a client’s server. The messaging system will only connect to our main messaging gateway when sending messages or receiving delivery reports. This set up involves setting up a virtual private network between our server and the client’s server. All traffic will also go over a secured network (HTPS).
